Bei einem Konzert seiner Mini-Tour durch die USA hat Jarvis Cocker seinem Ärger über die amerikanischen Medien ein wenig Luft gemacht. Gelinde gesagt findet er es unfair, wie sie den Präsidentschaftskandidaten Barack Obama behandeln: “They’re really taking the piss out of Barack Obama [on the news] and its really not fair.” Der Frontmann aus glorreichen Pulp-Zeiten fügte noch hinzu: “What I am saying is kill all those capitalist bastards…and then piss on their ashes”, bevor er schließlich ‘Cunts Are Still Ruling he World’ sang.
